This Saturday and Sunday, September 19th and 20th, CureFest will be held on the National Mall for thousands of families who have been affected by, and support childhood cancer.
On Sunday, the 20th, the Plain White T’s will close out CureFest playing a free show on the National Mall! Throughout the day, music will also be heard from talented artists The Christian Lopez Band and Todd Wright.
For the past 4 years, CureFest has been held in September to coincide with National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. CureFest is held to help make childhood cancer research a national priority by uniting those within and out of the childhood cancer community to create a voice for childhood cancer.
Apart from the awesome free show on the Mall, throughout the weekend CureFest will host a rally, a candlelight vigil, a 3-mile walk on the National Mall, and a festival full of games and activities for those of all ages. Over 80 childhood cancer foundations will also be featured throughout the National Mall.
You can catch Music Makes Life Better representatives on the National Mall this weekend supporting CureFest, and we hope to see you there too!
