Artist Q&A

@JamminJavaMei's Q&A With MAX

MAX's live show is high energy and super fun. His show here last year was packed and his show this TONIGHT (6/18) is on it's way to selling out! Get tickets now!

Where and when was your first show?

My first show was actually when I was 5 years old I played the king of the oopa loopa's in Charlie's and the chocolate factory in my kids theater group in Woodstock New York.

What band/artist would you consider to be your main influence?

James brown is definitely one of my biggest influences. I am so inspired by his music and his live performance style. He's such a legend.

What is one of your most memorable or off-the-wall touring experiences?

One of the craziest things that ever happened on stage for me was a couple years ago I was opening for Victoria Justice on her tour and we had a song in her set we did together. I came out to do the song and as I run on stage my mic pack falls out and is dragging on the floor and I didn't even notice until the sound guy runs over and starts putting the pack back in my back pocket while I'm still dancing. He's fumbling around trying to hook it on me and I just kept spinning and dancing complete unaware of the situation haha

Favorite Food: Crisp Watermelon

Favorite Drink. Iced coffee or Kombucha

If you were to have a film/movie based on your career, which actors or band would you select to portray yourself?

Joseph Gordon Levitt for sure. I've always admired his work and feel like we'd get along really well.

Cat-Person, Dog-Person, or both? Dog person. I've been wanting to get a little puppy for a while but just haven't committed to it yet.

What two words would best describe your music? Energetic, Soulful
