Where and when was your first show? This depends on what "first show" means... There was the music I wrote and performed in middle school on piano, my first show playing music at a dive bar in college on harp, and then there's my first show in Rochester, NY with the early formation of my band (me on harp and Alex Cote on bells). It was a house show at the locally known "Meddlesome Lab" owned by Seth Faergolzia. It was a really cool place to play because of the people and the energy that was created there. The show felt more organic than a lot of bar shows I've played since.

What band/artist would you consider to be your main influence? Sufjan Stevens and Elliott Smith

What is one of your most memorable or off-the-wall touring experiences? We were playing a show in Rochester at the Skylark Lounge and this guy randomly walked by and heard us through the window. He asked if we were playing in Providence anytime soon and we happened to be playing there the next month on our first tour ever opening up for a band called Maybird. He and his roommates were industrial design majors at Rhode Island School of Design and they had built pretty much all the furniture and rooms in a huge loft apartment. We stayed up until 5 in the morning hanging out and jamming on acoustic instruments and iPhone apps. My personal favorite was a Moog app that they hooked up to a chair with built in speakers! It was crazy how we randomly met this guy in Rochester who offered us a place to stay in the one city we didn't have sleeping arrangement set up. It ended up being the coolest place we've stayed on tour so far.

Favorite Food: Artichokes Favorite Drink: Tröeg's Nugget Nectar

If you were to have a film/movie based on your career, which actors or band would you select to portray yourself? I would be played by Carey Mulligan, Alex would be played by 22 year Jeff Bridges, and Cian would be Billy Crudup from Almost Famous

Cat-Person, Dog-Person, or both? Cat person!!!!! Kitties are my favorite creature :) check out my senior recital poster --
