Where and when was your first show?
Our first show was The Wellfleet Public Library (our hometown library!) in the summer of 2005. We played mostly instrumentals, Radiohead covers, as well as a few songs with vocals, like 'Jesus etc' by Wilco, and a couple of our first original tunes. We received such an excited and warm response that it really became a backbone of support that pushed us to continue and grow as artists. The room was packed with many familiar faces of family and friends a like, it was like stepping into a big hug, could not have imagined a better first show!
What band/artist would you consider to be your main influence?
Each of us have our own unique personality and musical influences, but here's a list of artists that have influenced us as a group- The Shirelles, Otis Redding, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Radiohead, Beethoven.
What is one of your most memorable or off-the-wall touring experiences?
One time, about a year and a half ago we were in Europe- we had a day off in Frankfurt Germany and we got a text from sisterNora saying "Hey, come to the castle for some beer and snitzel" those are the random moments on the road that make you erupt with laughter. You never know where the adventures gonna take you. Watching Rose have her head buzzed for charityin front of a 100,00k people at RockAMRing fest was also pretty awesome.
Favorite Food: Mom's spaghetti
