Where and when was your first show?

My first show for this album was in Philadelphia at world cafe live just before the album came out. It was a blast. I was honestly slightly embarrassed by how much fun it was for me.

What band/artist would you consider to be your main influence?

I think my 3 heroes are Bob Dylan, Woody Allen and Leonard Cohen. Everything I've ever done creatively is directly inspired by at least 1 of them.

What is one of your most memorable or off-the-wall touring experiences?

One time my friend Paul and I jumped off a riverboat casino in New Orleans into the Mississippi River.

Favorite Food: hamburgers

Favorite Drink: ginger ale

If you were to have a film/movie based on your career, which actors or band would you select to portray yourself?

I'd want to be played by Owen Wilson. His movie bottle rocket is my favorite movie. And his passionate but slightly brainless character dignan is someone I really relate to.

Cat-Person, Dog-Person, or both?

I hate to be a jerk but I'm not a pet person. I like animals but my house is too crazy with 2 babies to introduce something non-human.

What two words would best describe your music? Optimistic , juvenile
